Situated in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood, this project reimagines the residence through a carefully considered architectural addition and a comprehensive interior renovation, resulting in a home that is both luxurious and deeply personalized. Inspired by a warm, organic, and moody palette, the design celebrates rich materials, refined detailing, and high-end finishes that envelop each space in quiet elegance. At the heart of the home, a central bar forms an inviting gathering point, while expansive windows and custom glass doors draw light in and open onto the terraced backyard, blurring the line between indoors and out. The exterior has been thoughtfully refreshed with materials that complement the home's natural surroundings, creating a harmonious and contemporary presence. The result is a residence defined by intention, comfort, and elevated living.
